By now you’ve been a member of DERP for some time. And maybe you’re starting to think about when you can retire and what you need to do to prepare. Whether you are familiar with your DERP Pension Benefit or not, now is the time to find out the steps to take to make sure your retirement future is strong.

What will your learn at the Mid/Late Career Seminar?

This seminar is designed to help you better understand your retirement benefits and sharpen your retirement focus. We’ll review how their DERP Pension Benefit and DERP Plus Benefits work. Attendees will also learn the importance of monitoring their DERP Pension Benefit, strengthening personal savings and investments, and reporting life changes across their career to ensure a secure retirement future for themselves and their loved ones. Additionally, a representative from Nationwide will share information about the city’s Summit Savings Plan.
