Danielle Sexton and Roberta Monaco have been elected to the Denver Employees Retirement Plan (DERP) Advisory Committee. Their 3-year term begins July 1, 2022.
Meet the New Advisory Committee Members
Danielle Sexton
Danielle is an active member and a Senior Deputy District Attorney in the Economic Crimes Unit and has seen too often what happens when retirement funds are mismanaged. As an advisory committee member Danielle wants to help co-workers explore all that DERP offers.
Roberta Monaco
Roberta worked in the Office of Human Resources for over 22 years and retired in 2014. During her career she was a member of the Classification and Compensation team. She believes the most successful changes and outcomes are those that consider and incorporate employee input.
What Does an Advisory Committee Member Do?
An advisory committee member represents all City and County of Denver (city) employees, DERP employees, Denver Health and Hospital Authority (DHHA) covered employees, and DERP retired members and present suggestions and questions to the DERP Retirement Board.
